Students have requested I use google classroom instead of posting on this page. As a result I will give you some information how to access it. It is very easy. However I will continue to post assignments on this page as well.

On a mobile device you can download the app. On a desktop you can go to google classroom right from your google account.

August 26 and 27: On these 2 days we will take care of signing up for the remind app, course syllabus, class rules, passing out textbook and journal books and discussing the course. We will begin a lesson on August 28. Information on the remind app is available on the course syllabus which must be signed. Please sign up for the appropriate class period.

September 3 to 6 of 2019

September 3: Page 8 do 18-26, 28, 29, 31 in the textbook.

September 4: Due to the power outage issues yesterday morning the assignment listed for yesterday will be done today.

September 5: Page 9 do 33-38. We will also discuss the upcoming quiz today.

September 6: We will go over yesterday's assignment and review for the quiz. The quiz is Monday.

September 9-13

September 9: There is a quiz today in class. There is no other assignment for today.

September 10: Practice Journal page 7 and the bottom half of page 8 is what will be done today.

September 11: We will do more practice problems that look like the journal problems from yesterday.

September 12: Textbook page 14 do 6-9 and page 10 in journal book do 1-4.

September 13: Today Mrs. Shibley will talk to the kids about the field trip to DC. The assignment from yesterday is due Monday.

September 16 to 20

September 16: Page 10 in Journal do 5-6. Page 14 in the textbook do 10-11. Page 17 in the textbook do 7-9.

September 17: We will go over the assignment from yesterday and start the review. The quiz is Thursday.

September 18: We will finish the review for the quiz today. The quiz is tomorrow.

September 19: There is a quiz today. There is no other assignment for today.

September 20: We will do mini practice problems in class for the PSSA today. There will not be a homework assignment for tonight.

September 23 to September 27

September 23: Page 23 do 6-14 evens show work.

September 24: Do page 14 in the journal book. Show work.

September 25: Page 24 do 18-29. This assignment may very well take two days.

September 26: We will continue with the assignment from yesterday.

September 27: Classes that meet will do more practice problems with equations. On Monday we will discuss a test for late next week.

September 30 to October 4

September 30: There will be a test on Thursday. For today we will do page 17 in our textbook numbers 1 to 8 and Page 32 numbers 1 to 6.

October 1 We will go over the assignment from yesterday and do more practice problems for Thursday's test.

October 2: We will do an activity where students can get bonus points on tomorrow's test.

October 3: There is a test in class today. There is no assignment for tonight.

October 4: We will finish tests and o makeup work today. We will start a new unit Monday.

October 7 to October 11

October 7: Textbook page 30 do 5-10. Show all work.

October 8: We will go over yesterday's assignment and do more practice problems from a worksheet today.

October 9: We will go over the problems from yesterday. We will also start the review for the quiz. The quiz is Friday.

October 10: We will finish the review today. The quiz is tomorrow.

October 11: Quiz today. There is no other assignment for today.

October 15 to October 18

October 15: Do pages 67 and 68 in the journal book. Also do page 141 in the textbook. Show work where necessary.

October 16: Period 4 do 67 and 68 in Journal books. Other classes do page 146 in textbook. numbers 7-8 and 13-16.

October 17: 4th period page 68 in journal book. All others do page 146 numbers 4-16 evens.

October 18: 4th period page 68 journal book. All others 3-15 odds on page 146 in the textbook.

October 21 to 25

October 21. I was out sick. Left 3-15 odds on page 146 of textbook as the assignment.

October 22. 4th period will start 3-16 on page 146. All others may move on to section 2 if ready. If not we will have one more day of practice on section 1.

October 23: Page 153 do 4-12 show work.

October 24: Page 154 in textbook do 13-18 show work.

October 28 to November 1

October 28: We will start the review for the quiz today.

October 29: We will finish the review today. Quiz is tomorrow.

October 30: There is a quiz today. There is no other assignment for tomorrow.

October 31: Classes that meet will do a Halloween puzzle today.

November 1: Page 170 in textbook do 7-15 and page 86 in journal do 1-3.

November 4 to 8

November 4: Periods 3 and 5 will do the assignment from Friday. All other classes will do supplementary worksheets from Friday's lesson.

November 5: Page 171 do 18-23 show work.

November 6: More practice graphing equations that are in slope intercept form. We will do this from supplemental worksheets.

November 7: Page 176 do 5-13 and 16-18. For today we are only finding intercepts. This assignment is due Tuesday.

November 12 to November 15

November 12: We will go over the assignment from last Thursday. Due to the 2 hour delay classes are shorter. If time permits we will start to graph the exact same problems that we found the intercepts for last week.

November 13: We will graph all of the problems we found the intercepts for last week. Page 176 5-13 and 16-18.

November 14 and 15: We will review for the quiz. The quiz is Monday, November 18.

November 18 to November 22

November 18: There is a quiz in class today. There is no other assignment for today.

November 19: Page 182 do 5-10 show all work.

November 20: We will do supplemental worksheets on the types of problems we did yesterday.

November 21: We are going to do the state mandated SLO today. This has to be done in class and not for homework. I will post a new normal assignment here tomorrow.

November 22: Page 188 do 3-11. Show work.

November 25 to 27

November 25: Go over page 188 numbers 6-11 and start page 188 numbers 12-17

November 26: Page 188 do 12-17 and page 196 do 14-16 show all work.

November 27: Classes that meet today can finish the assignment from yesterday in class. Classes that do not meet must finish it for homework.

December 3 through 6

December 3: We will go over the assignment from last week and we will start the review. We will have a quiz on Thursday or Friday of this week. I will know after I talk to the rest of your teachers.

December 5: December 3 was an unplanned early dismissal due to water issues. December 4 I was out sick. Periods one and three will finish the review today and take the quiz tomorrow. Periods 4,5, and 7 will start the review today and take the quiz on Monday. Thank You

December 6: Periods 1 and 3 will take the quiz. All other classes will finish the review and take the quiz on Monday.

December 9 to 13

December 9: Periods 1 and 3 have a makeup day. Everybody else will take the quiz today.

December 10: Page 112 in journal books do numbers 1 through 4.

December 11 : Fourth period will do page 112 in journal books numbers 1 to 4. All others will do page 221 in textbook numbers 7 to 12. Please show work.

December 13: We will finish up the assignment from the last two days. Quiz will be Monday for periods, 1,3,5. Quiz will be Tuesday for periods 4 and 7.

December 16 to 20 of 2019

December 16: Periods 1,3,5 have quiz today. Periods 4 and 7 will finish assignment from last week today and have the quiz tomorrow.

December 18: Periods 4 and 7 have a quiz. The other three classes can do makeup work.

December 19: Students can use today to finish quizzes and complete make up assignments.

January 2 and 3 of 2020

January 2: We will do a review assignment graphing equations today.

January 3: Page 206 do 4-6 as well as some practice problems on page 8 of our packets.

January 9 and 10

January 9: We will start the review for the test. The test is Monday.

January 10: We will finish the review today. The test will be Monday.

January 13 to 17 of 2020

There is a test today in class. There is no other assignment for today.

January 14: Page 204 do 1-3 show work.

January 15: Page 206 do 10-12

January 17: Page 205 do 4-6 show work.

January 21 to January 24

January 21: There is no assignment for tonight. Students will work on the new computer program Imagine Math in class. with Mrs. Barilka today.

January 23: Page 46 in the textbook do numbers 3-9 and number 11. Page 24 in the journal as well. Please bring both books.

January 27 to January 31

January 27 and 28: Imagine Math program in class will be done today.

January 29: Imagine Math

January 30: Go over page 46 numbers 3-9 in the textbook and journal page 24. There will be a short open note quiz tomorrow on this topic.

January 31: Third period will review for the quiz today. Everyone else will take the quiz today.

February 3 to 7

February 3: 3rd and 7th periods will take the quiz today. All others will work on imagine math today.

February 4: All classes will do Imagine Math on the computers today.

February 10 to February 14

February 10 and February 11: Imagine Math Computer Program. (In class)

February 12: Page 28 in the journal book and page 52 numbers 3-14 in the textbook.

February 13: We will continue the assignment from yesterday.

February 14: Periods 1 and 5 do not meet today. Periods 3, 4, 7, can do makeup work in class today.

February 18 to 21

February 18 and 19: Imagine math.

February 20: Review for quiz. The review will be page 28 in the journal book. It will also be page 53 numbers 17-20 in the textbook.

February 21: We will have an open book/open notes quiz on translations today.

February 24 to 28 of 2020

February 24 and 25: Imagine Math computer program will be done in class. There is no assignment for either night.

February 26: all classes but seventh period will have notes on reflections today and an in class assignment tomorrow. Seventh period will not meet today due to an assembly. I will figure out a game plan for seventh period tomorrow.

February 27: Page 58 do 10-17 draw both diagrams for each problem.

February 28: We will go over the assignment from yesterday. If time permits we will start page 59 numbers 19-24.

March 2 to March 6 of 2020

March 2 and 3: We will do Imagine Math these two days.

March 4: Page 59 in textbook do 19-24. Page 32 in the journal books do 4-7. Show work.

March 5: We will go over the assignment from yesterday. We will also discuss the quiz. The quiz is tomorrow.

March 6: There is a quiz today. There is no other assignment for today.

March 9 to 13 of 2020

March 9 and 10: Imagine Math

March 11: Page 74 do 4-14 in textbook.

March 12: We will go over the assignment from yesterday. We will also do page 74 numbers 6 and 7 together in class.

March 13: Periods 1, 3, and 4 can do makeup work in class today. Periods 5 and 7 do not meet today. All makeup work is due March 23. Students in periods 5 and 7 can still pick up their progress reports today. Thank You.
