Class Description

The Valley View Middle School S.T.E.A.M. / S.T.E.M. / Graphic Arts classes are made up of 6th - 8th grade students. This school year the program is going through a transition, again.  Many of the activities / tasks the students will be presented with will be on a trial basis.  Each student is still required to complete all assigned projects.   Extra time is offered to all students at a prearranged time by the instructor.

 

Course Objectives

To introduce students to the basic principles of engineering using S.T.E.M. foundations.

To introduce students to the use of  technology, procedures, theories, equipment, and basic techniques of engineering and S.T.E.M. 

 To orient students in careers associated with engineering and S.T.E.M. fields.

 To provide students with opportunities to develop basic skills in all areas associated with engineering, and S.T.E.M. theories.
