7th & 8th Grade

General and Performance Chorus Class Assignments:

1  The students will learn Solfege Syllables and hand gestures.

2.  The students will learn vocal warm-ups and exercises.

3.  The students will learn and be assessed on The Star Spangled Banner

4.  The students will begin learning songs for the Christmas Concert and will 

      be practicing the songs during each class period.

This will take place from September through December 2017.

6th Grade

General and Performance Chorus Class Assignments:

1.  The students will learn new vocal warm-ups and exercises.

2.  The students will learn The Star Spangled Banner and be assessed within a month.

3.  The students will be introduced to Solfege Syllables along with hand gestures that go along with each syllable.

4.  The students will be learning new music for the Christmas Concert.

This will take place every music class from September through December 2017.
